Progress Report #170 - July 2025



Hi everyone,

Up for another dev brief? these past few days have been all about refining what’s already there while laying the groundwork for what’s coming next. Here is everything in brief:

Work on fine-tuning the visual identity of the upcoming Orc Dungeon continues. We're going for a distinct, gritty tone that contrasts nicely with previous zones.

Additionally, new props, setpieces, and character sprites are in production to bring similarly dangerous locations to life and keep Caly on her toes.

Also in the works: continuation on the slick DJ Caly sketch- now with added flair and extra detailing that fans of her stylish side will love.

Our writer took a brief break this week to attend a small wedding and get in a bit of well-earned recharge time. Sometimes you’ve got to step away from the void to refill the inspiration tanks.

We’ve begun researching and prototyping new minigames to inject more variety and interactivity into the next update. Need a break from the chaos of Henosis? Swing by the local arcade and unwind with something a little more... interactive.

Caly’s PSI toolkit is also getting some attention, with new powers being brainstormed to broaden her tactical options. After-all, who says her mind can't be as sharp as her curves?

On the backend, we’re working to optimize load times, trimming the fat so players can dive into the action faster and smoother.
